Vinnie Louis 14" and how long? What the old sailors on USS New Jersey told me was that the 16" 50 caliber guns means that the barrels are 50x16". Those are some awesome, devastating naval rifles. Any word on USS Texas' guns? And what class is she?
1
Vinnie Louis Wasn't aware of the New York class. Shame as I was born in New York. I imagine a 14" .45 caliber naval rifle would seem pretty awesome if I hadn't seen USS New Jersey's guns. If you're ever in the Philadelphia area, go over the river to Camden, NJ (one of the worst places in the country) and go see the battleship. She's worth going to Camden for.

14.5mm rifles would be technically legal (though heavily regulated). But there aren't many of them floating around in this country.
1
@ВладимирОкшин-з9ж I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say. There are not very many 14.5mm rifles available on the civilian market in the US. Same with 14.5mm ammunition. Getting one would be very hard to do and likely very expensive.
1
@ВладимирОкшин-з9ж .50s aren't cheap, but they're readily available. A 14.5 would not be readily available, and would cost significantly more.
1
@ВладимирОкшин-з9ж I just saw a 14.5mm rifle that sold for $27,500. That's as much as a legal machine gun costs.

How is one supposed to breathe in that helmet? Or, for that matter, get proper cheek weld on a rifle?
1
It wouldn't be a felony. What makes a machine gun a machine gun by law is firing more than one bullet per "action of the trigger" not "action of the finger". If you trigger the subsequent guns remotely, each of them still only fires a single shot per action of the trigger of that gun. It would be legally no different from tying strings to a bunch of triggers and pulling them at once.

FPS Russia had machine guns and other really hard to get stuff. And his own range that he'd shoot cannons on.

@FLmanAzonehit He may be pro-2A but never says anything about it. Never talks about fighting against these unconstitutional "red flag" laws or universal background checks. Never once mentions anything having to do with attacks on the Second Amendment. He has some cool guns and he blows shit up, but he does nothing to ensure that all of us will be able to get, and keep, those guns. A quick "support GOA/FPC/SAF" would be nice. Or a "remember to call your senators and tell them not to cripple the Second Amendment with more unnecessary and unconstitutional laws".

@jbrannon509 It helps when Internet debates take place without howling insults.

What's that upper?
1
Let's see some Second Amendment advocacy! It's fun watching you shoot weird things, but if you could briefly talk about preserving rights in between shooting weird things, there are a lot of people who would appreciate it. Point out that our rights are under attack, and at least mention to call senators/reps, to donate to Firearms Policy Coalition or the Second Amendment Foundation or Gun Owners of America, cmon, ANYTHING. They're trying to ban all the cool guns you shoot. Too many people don't care. Your voice would matter.
