Just a piece of fairly useless trivia for you all there. The last name Chertoff, is actually a Russian name: Чертов. Черт (Chert) is just one of the names of the Devil. Devil = Chert = Черт The last 3 letters in the name are a used in Russian to indicate the 'Dativ' case, which means that the person with this name is "of the Devil", or "belonging to the Devil", or simply "Devil's". So that's pretty funny.
