  1. They appreciated radiation just fine back then, enough people died because of radiation before even the first nuclear bomb exploded. Marie Curie, Haroutune K. Daghlian, Jr., Louis Slotin, they all died way before this explosion just by handling the material, never mind all the people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

  5. Cenk's ability to understand physics is limited to his ass not being able to detach from his chair, pretty much the same amount of understanding that he has in economics. Radiation doesn't need to 'fall on top of you', gamma rays move at nearly the speed of light.
