@MitchofSmeg Charities can argue all they want. If their cause was actually helping the economy, the market would be willing to pay them money, and they would be able to make profits. I don't have a problem with voluntary charity, in fact I am all for some forms of voluntary charity but this has nothing to do with the real economy and job creation. Charity doesn't produce profit, which means it has nothing to do with real economy and what market wants and needs.

Giving money away is fine, but people who use their money as investment make much more sense for the economy, when they invest it into new ideas, new manufacturing, new tech, new companies, new products. Giving money away is NOT job creation, it's charity, but it's more like 'government style' charity. Real job creation is INVESTMENT FOR PROFIT because profit is what tells us that the investment is actually NEEDED and it creates jobs and products and more investment opportunities.
