  1. The ENTIRE POINT of Freddie and Fannie and FHA was to create liar loans :)  The entire USA mortgage market is one gigantic liar loan based on non-existing GDP and enormous inflation, that is being papered over.

So funny, the government and the Federal reserve created the bubbles by blowing all that new cash into it (inflation), the government pushed for lax lending standards, the Fannies and Fredies of the world, the FHA.  THEN, when the banks do EXACTLY what the government's moral hazard allowed them to do and eventually the inevitable crash comes, the government BAILS OUT the banks and now it PENALIZES the banks? :))) What an amazing nonsensical game is being played on the people.

  3. Finally, the bank here paid this because it's NOT BANK'S MONEY. The government bails out the banks, the government prints all this money, the government fines the banks, it's a never ending revolution of money between the Fed and the Treasury and the banks. What fines? Just wait the next time BofA goes bankrupt AND IT WILL.  USA Treasury and Federal reserve will be bailing them out again, only this time much bigger, because this time it is not just the mortgage market, it's the entire USA bond market and the dollar itself.
