I saw a similar 'thing' in 1989 in Yakutia, Udachny, here: tinyurl 4rq8pth It looked like a ball of light, it was hanging above buildings for 10 minutes and then it disappeared, don't know where it went, never saw it before or after. Now, it IS a UFO. UFO means UNIDENTIFIED Flying Object, so until somebody IDENTIFIES it, it's UNIDENTIFIED. Doesn't mean anything else.
