Unless the institutions which governs Argentina are radically altered it doesn't matter who they put in the seat of the presidency I only hope that whoever has the presidency of Argentina recognizes this fact and try their best to promote governmental institutions which are more resistant to corruption and promoting better financial responsibility

  3. Have to say it's extremely funny that the first thing everybody does to a politician that they don't like is bring up a comparison to the Germans of World War II And it's even more funny to see this being done outside of the English-speaking world

This guy is only the same in that regard in than that he has not ever held any government office prior to running in a national-level election that's about the only thing they have in common Unlike the former US president, he is also formally educated in his field of Economics so by that alone he has already further away from Trump Not to mention he's not a populist spouting conservative thoughts or opinions But despite that, the institutions which run the government of Argentina are pretty ineffectual So even if he does come to power he will have significant challenges and it's possible that his outsider status might not be enough to get the changes he wants

  6.  @tomasulisestraini1745  in my personal opinion I think eliminating ministries is the wrong way to go I think he needs to build up ministries but he needs to make them able to withstand the pressures of corruption, financial irresponsiblity and inefficiency It remains to be seen if he can achieve such a goal

  11.  @MultiSubDramas  yeah Argentina had a large influx of Italians and Germans so naturally they were pretty sympathetic to the German cause of world war 2 So declared war on Germany in the Twilight years of the conflict But still I gotta say the speed at which any political discussion devolves and immediately begins to reference the Austrian painter is a hilarious phenomenon to see

  13.  @TheUnatuber  it's funny because the famous American accents like the Southern Belle and Southern Drawl are actually based on the wealthy high-class British who came from London and settled in those areas of the United States
