The war will end when: 1) either Russia can pull something off similar to how they did in the winter war with Finland where they had just sheer numbers and they completely overwhelmed the defending force despite performing exceptionally poorly 2) Ukraine uses all of its Western supplied high quality weapons, intelligence, and armaments to bloody the face and nose of Russia so much that Russia just concedes and leaves I'm hoping it's the latter and not the former

  3. While this is a great idea sadly not a lot of countries recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC, and that includes the United States as well as China So in essence this is kind of more symbolic gesture than a practical one

  10.  @The_Prophet...  yes but in the long term it might serve a purpose, when Putin will try to go into exile, if he ever gets removed from power, knowing that there's a warrant for his arrest will severely restrict his options Also there's supposed to be a BRICS summit in S. Africa soon, and S. Africa does recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC so if Putin decided to attend in person there's a slim chance he might face arrest but seeing the current political climate in S. Africa I doubt it
