@effsixteenblock50 yeah that's kinda what I was mentioning, the person who it the recipient of the encrypted message needs to know in advance what key to use So how do you tell them what key to use if you don't know and you can't send an encrypted message over the OTP because you don't know what is the key

I've heard about those but aren't they kind of limited in scope because the decryption key has to already be pre given? And since the key can only be used once and then immediately discarded that means you would have to give a bunch of keys are in advance and then know which one to use for the transmission

@treesaremadeofwood2145 but how do you know what decryption key to use that's what I'm trying to understand How do you coordinate that in advance? And still somehow keep your keys secret? I think the limitation of the OTP is the key sharing

Only to the towers you could still get a internet connection via any Wi-Fi because that's just a separate antenna system searching for Wi-Fi signal so if you don't have a SIM card you won't get a direct internet connection like a data and you won't be able to make/receive incoming and outgoing calls

I mean vpns can be blocked by people that own Minecraft servers for crying outloud they are not all that good and never assume a vpn is a one size fits all You need to shop around and you need to look at their privacy policy to understand what it is they can do and offer

Gonna have to wait for the price to go down a lil bit more but other than that I'm very interested in getting one of these

Take me with you! I am not going past Windows 10 operating system Windows 11 has completely turned me off I want to go to Linux when windows 10 ceases it's support in 2025 But I don't know the first thing about Linux and how to install it or what to do for customization

@treesaremadeofwood2145 okay, I guess that would solve that problem it seems a little rudimentary but that would technically make it so both parties would be able to coordinate which key to use I guess the only other issue would be just the sheer volume of keys you would need on reserve for your decryption because if you're going to be receiving multiple messages you would need hundreds if not thousands of keys on reserve and since you can only use them one time so you would need all those keys stored in storage and then brought out used and then immediately discarded That does seem pretty wasteful and pretty tedious however

@treesaremadeofwood2145 but didn't the Verona project find significant weaknesses in OTP because the ciphers they used was based on natural existing languages?
