The UK has no military forces to combat against the violation of the 1997 treaty It goes to show, that at the fundamental level if you want to claim something you better have force to back it up, and the evil CCP has that military force It can violate the 1997 treaty at will and experience little to no consequences, because the UK can do nothing, they can condemn it sure, but that means little to the CCP, and it would only be a symbolic condemnation at best

  3. Without any armament the civil population of Hong Kong won't stand a chance. It's a shame to see democracy die, but civilians that have no military training, no access to any private messaging, no ability to move and gather without being monitored, and can at best only be armed with bricks, metal rods, and baseball bats are in a pathetic state to defend their democratic way of life
