Republicans just hate humans worldwide

And they got help, and they've had help. Money from state and federal. More money wouldn't stop fires. Being in the Paris climate agreement would. Switching energy would.

@bigggyd dangle it in front of poor people. This is like something out of a novel where the rich evil person is a jerk. That's Trump's new system it seems. Making the poorer desperate. That's the mentality you're defending something from centuries past
1
@alyrerb you're confusing events. The Afghan government left it for the Taliban. It belonged to the Afghan government.

@stoptheviolence3358 then talk to republicans who vote to not help anyone. Only exceptions is the rich, and veterans (supposedly, since Democrats tend to fight harder for their benefits). a low tax society is one where people are left to fend for themselves against people and entities with vast power. A weak government can't stand up against strong corporations.

@danielszymanski-jw5kq we're not fighting any wars for Europe. NATO is funded based on how much money you have.

@alyrerb No. The equipment was left to the Afghan government. The US was withdrawing before it fell. Perhaps there's some small amount the US was going to abandoned like someone said but the equipment people think and is erroneously described as you have done, was equipment given to the Afghan government. Even news orgs have gone for a sensationalized headline instead of the truth. The Taliban took over the Afghan forces equipment. Some of that equipment was US supplied. Maybe a lot of it was. But It wasn't left during the withdrawal. It had been given before the withdrawal, and through out the US' time there.

@alyrerb Here's an example of a sensationalist headline: US left behind $7 billion of military equipment in Afghanistan after 2021 withdrawal _ But here is the actual story: Approximately $7 billion of military equipment the US transferred to the Afghan government over the course of 16 years was left behind in Afghanistan The US gave a total of $18.6 billion of equipment to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) from 2005 to August 2021, _ The Department of Defense was required to submit a report to Congress “regarding the disposition of United States property, equipment and supplies provided to” Afghan forces that “were destroyed, taken out of” or “remain in Afghanistan,” states _ Provided, meaning it was US property that was given. Here's the important part: “Nearly all equipment used by U.S. military forces in Afghanistan was either retrograded or destroyed prior to our withdrawal and is not part of the ‘$7.12 billion’ figure cited in the report.” _ Actual US equipment was taken home or destroyed.

Republicans don't like to help people period. You don't do things at some perfect future time.
1
@Greg-Horne the principle of not helping people at home and around the world? Nonsense. It's the opposite of any principle.
1
@fedupamerican6534 Again nothing is stopping helping everyone simultaneously other than republicans don't want to help you, and they also don't want to help others. They don't want to help because they hate social programs, because racists think people are welfare queens, because they hate people of color. Because they'd rather stay ahead then help anyone up.
1
@deannajan25 it has nothing to do with this. But yea the constitution does allow money to be sent as aid. Nothing prohibits it.
1
@fedupamerican6534 Anecdotal, insubstantial crap.
1
@kraitshakti you have no idea what you're talking about. Countries don't operate like that. You are probably a bot but in case you're not. Republicans will never take care of people. Their standard policies is to never do that. You don't know what you're talking about.

@keithforget829 There's definitely the view of the continent of America, with North and South being sub continents.
