  1. Moral superiority is based on issues and actions. It can claim moral superiority on a host of issues. Just not this one. But their positions aren't drastically different either.

  3.  @zacksmith5963  China later vetoed a similar resolution that everyone else also agreed with. China often says noble sounding things while turning a blind eye to Russia or its own stuff, especially if it can make the US look bad.
