@lawrencekling8598 all countries have levels of it. They also have the opportunity to improve. This junta is corrupt. I don't get how what you're saying is suppose invalidate what he said. If people are against corruption, this junta doesn't make it go away. It is corrupt. If anyone thinks a politician won through corrupt means... These means are the most corrupt possible. I don't get how the added condition of leaving people out is beneficial.

Democracy can improve over time. And a junta is inherently oppressive. Everything that can be done in one system can be done in a democracy. So why leave the people out. This wasn't the people that decided to do this. The military wanted to. That's the biggest kind of corruption. They had the power, and wanted to abuse it. They didn't like what they were told to do and wanted to do what they wanted. A junta doesn't solve corruption. It is just the worst kind of corruption. The most blatant kind, that little can be done against. Of course rigging creates a dictatorship too, if it's to keep someone in power in definitely.
