That's a surrender. Give us what we want, and you get nothing other than we stop killing you. That area doesn't belong to Russia. Ukraine was willing to be neutral almost immediately. But now the best guarantee is a few years with some military for protection. You can't ask Ukraine to be neutral anymore. And you can't ask them to surrender territory. I'm not sure what Russia can get from this. Other than real referendums in the future to whether there's territories actually want to join. But now Ukraine needs assurances and bases from other countries because Russia has shown it isn't safe and Russia isn't trustworthy.

The tech wasn't anywhere near like this when Cuba and Haiti were invaded so it really can't. There was no campaign like this. There wasn't a campaign like this for Vietnam either. And I don't know too much about the Honduras one but it's doubtful it was similar. I think you listed random places since you have no idea how those conflicts looked like at all.

@MetaView7 what's your comment going to do? But here it is, a less than worthless comment with no goodwill behind it.

Russia is trying to kill the sick, old, and weak is what you're saying.

@eastern2western they're trying but they are under attacked by Russia, making basic necessities difficult.

@johnadam2885 That's what the weapons that were asked are for. The beginning of better air defense.

@aditya-ml6km Russia is irrelevant. Ukraine winning is just holding on and getting Russians to leave. Russia has already faced mass exodus even though the country isn't attacked. It's economy has shrunk more than others. Russia is ruining itself equally for two decades. Even if it wins, it'll be a pyrrhic victory.

@qinby1182 Everyone already knew that Russia is the bigger country. But Ukraine showed better training, discipline, and leadership. And they held on. All the BS you've said doesn't account for Russia losing on the ground. Or it's needing extra manpower by it's mobilization. On top of it's conscription.

Civilians there are suffering too. You need civilians to keep other stuff going.
