  1.  @colin8696908  that's like letting a virus run its course when a patient is in serious distress. Sometimes you need to intervene. This isn't like a civil war. There's nothing with a plan for a government as everything is falling apart. Or a bunch of gangs are gonna run the country. Countries can help each other.

  3.  @JoshuaFoy  because it's a step in the right direction. For one thing, it'll stop the bled out. The infrastructure would stabilize. So immediate relief. But the elections run by a third party like peace keepers will be more fair and can avoid the corruption. That's already a good step towards them recovering
