Shingo Dingo umm yes there is. It's not acceptable anymore. It's why people join and why they even have the sham of a referendum. And it's doubtful Russia can keep it

@jeanrobertwongtitshing8227 if you see someone mugged in the street, who would you support? Would it matter what their life is like? Who would you want the police to support? Who would you want the law to support?

@luchomscyfy Minsk Accord had nothing to do with Russia. The terrorists didn't abide by the accord. And Russia didn't abide by the Budapest memorandum. nor the Minsk Accord since they say they had nothing to do with them.

@LaHayeSaint Russia didn't seek security. It sought control for it's ego and because it didn't want to just develop it's economy. Only reason small countries join NATO is because Russia attacks them. Russia was under no threat from NATO anyway except it didn't want to lose the ability to attack and control these small countries.

@user-g5xnx7gjqb examples from two centuries ago isn't common. It's barbaric. Ukraine did nothing to it's Russian speakers. They had a Russian speaking PM. These Russian speakers were in a country that is more democratic than Russia, considered more free, with less repression. And whatever problems they had, they could have handled through the legal system. The only thing that happened is that everyone has to learn Ukranian, and it was the language of the state. And that was partly because of situations exactly like this. Russia was trying to fragment the country using language. But no one that spoke it was troubled and they could have privately used it, taught it, ect. And maybe that wasn't great, but the Russian speakers weren't oppressed, or slaves or anything.

@guywebster8018 again, two centuries ago. The barbaric brain of these supporters. WW2 changed how things are done.

@luchomscyfy the separatist didn't abide. The Russians were supplying them. And what does it matter if Ukraine abided or not, it was an internal problem, unrelated to Russia as stated by them and you. Russia had no business getting involved. And absolutely no right to act about whether it was or wasn't.

@luchomscyfy I didn't say shouldn't. I said it fell apart, and that's grounds to throw it away. There's no abiding a broken agreement. And most importantly, it's not business of Russia. “I think if you look back over the requirements established in the Minsk agreements, three agreements over the course of several months, it is a fair assessment to say that Ukraine has sought to move forward on most if not all of them, while Russia has made good on virtually none of its obligations under Minsk,”

@luchomscyfy it shouldn't have to be anything for Russia to respect a country's border. But it shows how Russia's word isn't worth much. No poll showed that those people wanted to leave Ukraine. Instead a militia, with Russia backing, and Russian troops, militarily took over. That's not the people, that's not a democracy. Ukranians lived in a country that by every measure, was better for human freedom than Russia. Wait to be massacred... What a joke. Russia destabilized and made their region a war zone. Russia did that. Again, Ukraine has a better human rights record than Russia. What awaited those people was democracy, and peace. If Russia or the separatist terrorists had let it. Russia brought war and conflict into Ukraine and the donbas
