  7. I think German Shepherd dogs who have a doggie door would be able to hunt small animals. The house is on eight acres Or maybe they were able to access the stored dog food.

  14.  @AlbertHess-xy7ky  a Life Alert device or an Apple Watch will notify emergency services when a person falls or has a medical emergency. Even if they are unconscious paramedics are automatically sent to the location.

  24. I donā€™t understand why Gene who had to retire because of his bad heart didnā€™t have a Life Alert system or an Apple Watch. Then if someone falls or has an emergency incident paramedics are sent automatically. My daughter got one for her dad for Christmas this year. He is 71 but has had a pretty bad stroke.

  27. I think the wife may have died first. They make it sound like she had fallen in the bathroom or somehow the space heater landed on her. Because I donā€™t think she would have left a dog in a kennel to die of dehydration and starvation. And then l think Gene had a heart attack. But I guess we have to wait for more information. Sure would have sense for someone like Gene who had to retire because of a bad heart to have either a Life Alert system or an Apple Watch sense. Then if a fall or medical emergency happens paramedics are dispatched immediately !!
