Home solar has a lot of issues Styx. Wish you’d do more research into it. Not only do panels really only make sense in desert areas because of the risk of damage due to environment and damage to your roof they really only “pay for themselves” in those areas that get the sunlight for it. Not to mention they’re only “paying for themselves” when they’re heavily subsidized and last 20+ years. That’s ignoring the issue of disposal for all solar/wind etc because we can’t recycle it. Scarcity is another issue since we’d run out of sand before we could supply the solar to half of the world.
