  1. My fav part of the oral argument was Prolegar arguing there has never been obstruction like J6 to interrupt a vote and I believe it was Goresuch asking her about 5 cases that were all obstruction like J6 that never got charged (Boweman, Kavanaugh, anti-war, BLM etc).

  2. SCOTUS was very concerned about the upper limit that they were looking at using. The gov said the average sentence was 2 years or something in that range but they want the upper limit to be in the 20 year range. SCOTUS didn’t seem to believe them when they said they wouldn’t use it.

  3. The atty for the protesters sucked. If they lose the case it’s not on SCOTUS it’s on him.

  4. Don’t forget a bookcase was also destroyed. Never forget the bookcase that was destroyed. Also someone pooped in the hallway and they didn’t pick up after themselves which they did in every other protest.

  5. I’ve heard this used as an excuse for a lot of the BLM riots that are pretty quickly debunked. I recognize the police didn’t make it any better but it’s a common fall back for why a riot breaks out.

  6. If it’s lost by the J6 protesters it’s on theirs lawyer for being terrible. He didn’t make great arguments. Hope his written ones were better.
