  1. This is a sign of a poor economy too. Our local Meijer has had people brazenly stealing entire carts worth of high value goods or sneaking things under dresses/kids coats etc. we’re in a republican state (although the area is more mixed). I’ve only seen white 30-40 something’s stealing, this isn’t a race/age thing alone.

  2. High end bags set off security scanners in a lot of places. I’ve had my bag searched going into stores and coming out because of it.
