@dontreply8346 We have tried but one must remember here we have the " Right" to own a firearm. There are no registrations, no extra taxes or permits needed. Biden and company don't care , its about control, nothing more. You see a unarmed man is easy prey, but a armed man isn't as easy to prey on. AR 15's, M1 Carbines, M1 Garands are all on Diane Feinstein's hit list, have been for ever , look it up.

@dontreply8346 Who said anything about using a firearm for a crime?????? But if just by owning a certain firearm makes you a criminal that you purchased legally, thats were the trouble begins. 1) Convicted criminals can not own a firearm, its illegal. 2) Until a crime is committed you can not lock some one up on a "what if or a maybe" assumption is frowned upon in court. 3) If you could lock someone up for " Maybe " commiting a crime , that's like a cop writing up a ticket for " You may one day drive drunk and kill another driver scenario. 4) If a person don't like firearms or a certain firearm fine don't buy one. But you infringe on others rights when you tell them they can't own it.

@dontreply8346 Well then do you blame booze for DUI's or drugs for drug addiction? A firearm is a tool , like a hammer, bat, knife all can kill you very dead and have. Mental illness is a cop out, really is, ever notice they claim mental instability only after caught and on the way to trial and death row.

@dontreply8346 I work for my states Dept. of Corrections in a Forensic Mental Hospital. I see those by court order there everyday. They will tell you flatly being in a Mental Hospital is gravy compared to a prison any day of the week. You get drugs, rehab, and a shrink for free. Beats prison with armed guards, razor wire and gangs rapes.

@dontreply8346 You'd think so but sadly a incarcerated person has more rights than you do, that's a sad fact. Well to me the criminal is not afraid of prison these days because of the rights they have in them.
