So being anti gay now is a crime, or having a different view on it, uh huh........damn I miss the 80's.

@mariuszj3826 Ok, that case was what 10 years ago. But they never gave a complete ruling and dismissed. Now was she derelict in her duty, yes and no. She should have either had another clerk file the paperwork, if this was the only time she was derelict or had charges pressed without any other complaints she could have been reprimanded or put on leave or suspended. Whether they were gay or not is not my issue, its the fact that if they were straight would it have been such a issue?
1
@mariuszj3826 But did they not originally say the clerk was within her right ? I remember this story from some time back.
1
@yabutmaybenot.6433 Thought his Majesty Obama ruled marriage was defined as between man and woman, thats federal which over rules state law.
1
Long duk dong Because they have signs in business that state, " We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone."
1
@revengeofbcraig5755 Oh so now if one disagrees with homosexuality they are a bigot? What happened to ones freedom of choice? Or is it not a freedom to be able to chose anymore ?
1
@OutsiderAus10 I pay taxes too, federal and state so my opinion is simple . Just like the Baker who was sued over the cake. The SC ruled he had that right. Now the clerk could have just passed it to another clerk to do, then no harm and this would not even be a issue.
1
@yabutmaybenot.6433 Really government violates that law themselves every day.
1
Long duk dong Why , because I do not agree or that you fail to convince me.
1
@yabutmaybenot.6433 I said moron she could have had another clerk do it.
1
@yabutmaybenot.6433 I said it 3 times already, the clerk if she disagreed could have or should have had another clerk issue the license, they do it all the time.
1
@yabutmaybenot.6433 I said, " so is now being anti gay a crime." That can either be taken as a question or viewed as a statement .
1
@yabutmaybenot.6433 Really, thought that people had in business the right to refuse service for any reason.
1
@yabutmaybenot.6433 Did I say gays had no rights , no I did not. I don't think they deserve " Special Rights " based on sexual preference.
1
@jymbo1969 Really what asshat liberal sold you on that false lie? You can disagree and not be a bigot, people disagree everyday on any given topic , thats doesn't make them a bigot...........people assuming facts not in evidence like you do though.
1
@OutsiderAus10 My family does have interracial marriage , so again you are making assumptions without facts.
1
@OutsiderAus10 Why is it if one disagrees they are called names and degraded then as in your case start throwing around unsubstantiated accusations , makes your argument fail and rightly so.
1
@jymbo1969 I need not ,but I will. 1) Sexual preference is a choice. 2) When Gays are attacked verbally or physically its deemed a hate crime but if straight its assault and battery , is that fair, no it is not. 3) Gays are given different treatment when it comes to promotions/ hiring and firing. Companies being afraid of lawsuits. Straights are not given such " Special considerations." 4) If I'm denied service it's ok for any reason, but if gay its a crime.( discrimination) is that to fair, no its not. These 4 points are valid I have seen them in my personal life and on the job, if we are equal under the law then explain the differences if you can and justify them.
1
@revengeofbcraig5755 She was sued was she not even though no action was taken in court, but is now paying or forced to pay the other sides legal cost. If she was not convicted or jailed then the court did not see her actions as a hate crime, but in social circles they condemn her correct?
1
@Anti-Theist Progressive Depends, scientists can't agree on anything dipshit.
1
@jymbo1969 They can do as they want. I never said they couldn't. All I said is no special treatment, they must be treated like everyone else.
1
@jymbo1969 So you say its a lie. Typical response I thought you'd give. Keep living in denial you have no sense of reality.
1
@jymbo1969 So if a insult is made to a gay or they are assaulted you say its not a hate crime, but if straight its not simple assault. You do life in a weird universe.
1
@jymbo1969 Really asshat read this you moron: Currently, homosexual acts are legal in almost all Western countries, and in many of these countries violence against LGBT people is classified as a hate crime. Suck it, no tell me they are not treated differently under the law. Under current statute if on is attacked verbally or with force it is considered a act of verbal or physical assault.
