But Congress won’t pass “the Boyfriend Law’’ (I think that’s the name of it) where a domestic partner who has made threats or has committed actual violence to either his partner or former partner can’t own a gun. Nor will they renew VAWA, the Violence Against Women Act, nor even put the Equal Rights Amendment in the Constitution. Looks like men’s rights will trump women’s rights every time, probably at least for the next fifty years. I can only imagine that men are so insecure that they’re scared to death of women, and absolutely terrified of giving them ANY rights. (At least we still have the right to vote, so we’d better use it as often as we can).
