Now if only the third or so of the country that lost the Civil War and were forced to give up their slave-owning status, or at a minimum, their perceived and socially ingrained idea of superiority over black people (and women in general) would learn that lesson, or even accept it. They’ve held that grudge for far too long, and it has cost far too many lives. How I envy you; I wish I had moved to New Zealand many years ago. You folks are a lot kinder.
