  1. When Kevin Roberts, head of The Heritage Foundation, said that this election will “be bloodless IF the Left allows it” chilled me to the bone. Yes, Thom’s guest did say that Roberts said that in reference to the “Second American Revolution”, but I also heard him say it when asked by a reporter if there will be a peaceful transition of power after this upcoming election. That should put ANY American on high alert. And, with trump talking about “bloodbaths” at his rallys, it’s way more than a little concerning.

  2. Thom, I’m glad you brought up the Mandate for Leadership being part of Reagan’s policy. I think that was 1981, not to split hairs. I would love to hear you do a conversation about which Republican Presidents adopted all or part of it, and which ones might have refused it. That would be very educational.

  4. It also depends greatly on what they will and will not allow in school curricula. For example, many states think that any form of sex education is “pornography”, and some think that teaching any kind of options of birth control other than complete abstinence (especially in high school) is “pornography”. Then, of course, that extends to the books the school libraries are allowed to have on hand for kids to learn from.

  5.  @thesoundsmith Just ask Stormy Daniels. I never thought, as a woman, a porn star could be one of my heroes, yet she is, and not for her films but for her way of standing up to trump and exposing him for the fraudster he is.

  6. We also need a new amendment making it illegal for any politician to knowingly spread lies and disinformation while in office or when running for office. I’m not sure if the word “knowingly” should be put in there because then they’d just say they didn’t know it wasn’t true. I hope some legal expert will come up with a solution to that.
