  2.  @lindagarland5223  I really wish Americans would wake up and get over their adoration of “celebrity”. That has given us Reagan, trump, and, in California, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Governor. (While Arnold seems like a nice guy personally, he nearly drove California into the ground economically). I just don’t understand it. While I love Meryl Streep as an actress, but I wouldn’t vote for her for Governor or President. Political qualifications and experience have much more importance than fame or “star quality” when it comes to leading a country.

  3. Eisenhower also continued many of those programs. He’s the one who built our highways, and improved education.
