The American people really need to get beyond their glorification of celebrities. As well as billionaires.

@arthurr7866 That is true. It saddens me to see how enamored people in this country are with celebrity. For example, Ronald Reagan (arguably a terrible president) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (a governor who nearly ruined the economy of California), and now trump (I won’t even give him the “honor of capitalizing his name. Demonstrably the worst president in U.S. history). They seem to think because someone played a role in movies or TV that they enjoyed, that makes him (haven’t seen them take the same stance a woman yet. Maybe Meryl Streep needs to run for president) really smart and that he would naturally be a great political leader, even after he’s been shown not to be. I just don’t understand how they cannot separate a role from the reality.
