@melodyjanes9141 That’s why I never had children. All those women telling me I “should” and all the reasons why, so I just said, “and are YOU going to help pay for them to go to school, eat, have a place to live, extra programs like music, plus a musical instrument, sports equipment, etc., etc., etc.? Funny, but they could/would never answer that, when I was working two jobs just to pay rent on a studio apartment, utilities, and food, student loan, car payments, gas, etc., etc., etc. for just myself. (And no, my college education didn’t help me get a good job because after two years the federal government changed its loan rules, so I had to drop out, but I still had to keep paying off the two years that I did have). All this is also completely besides the fact that I simply didn’t want children (for about a hundred different reasons).

@Ascnxdigital Especially the white people of South Africa, and particularly those in Johannesburg. I used to work for a company owned by white people from Jo’berg, and they were, to put it kindly, insufferable. They really thought they were better than everybody else. Funny thing though, they weren’t allowed to take their money out of SA, so they found that they actually had to work for a living, just like us.
