  1.  @jeil5676  Authoritarians believe whatever their leaders tell them because those leaders were the ones who said it. No evidence is needed, and most Reprehensible Leaders know this. When I was encountering this stuff many (~40) years ago, I was wondering why I could not be like these people, and I accepted their negative judgements - that I was morally deficient and riddled with “character flaws” - because I didn’t know any better. After all, I was raised to believe that I needed to be like that, and wasn’t able to pull it off then, either.

  9.  @silverlakegirl9078  I guess I was seeing - or whatever - what they wanted to do. That, and I grew up around this kind of person. Years later, I realized just how much I’d underestimated the people in question, and hence I presume these W.S. non-handicapped people are a lot more capable than I am - in the ways that really matter, anyway. I haven’t watched vids beyond a few clips of what happened on the sixth, so my thinking was upon hearing they’d done such stuff was “this is just an assertion of Dominance, done as a diversion while they are doing the really important stuff…”
