  1. Ron Paul, because of his extreme market ideology, would hand healthcare even more over to the private sector. That's a no-go for me. Not to mention he doesn't believe there should be a Separation of Church and State. Fuck that.

But I keep thinking of things like the fact that like 2/5 of Americans believed there were death panels in the original bill back in July and August and the fact that over 40% of Americans have a favorable view of Palin. That doesn't exactly scream intelligence to me. That's still the minority but it's a big-ass minority.

  4. I say vote for Grayson. Unfortunately the powers that be will do EVERYTHING within their power to keep him as far away from the White House as possible. If he does get in he'll be so bought out by corporate America he'll be unrecognizable by 2012. This is why we need socioeconomic revolution from the bottom-up as well as political revolution.

  5. Amen to that. I didn't give a flying f**k about his sex scandal. He wasn't one of those politicians going around preaching "Family Values" and "moral majority" sanctimonious crap. His affair is between him and his wife. It has nothing to do with his politics or ability to deliver. The candidate I liked the most was Kucinich and Edwards was my second favorite along with possibly Gravel (although I had some reservations about Gravel).

  7. That prospect sort of worries me now because her popularity is almost as high as Obama's now. Never underestimate the stupidity of the American populace. They elected a moron TWICE (Bush) and they'll dern well do it again.
