@Blac13 - What annoys me about black Republicans like him is they pretend there's some conspiracy to oppress black conservatives and keep them from speaking when in reality he, Herman Cain, Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, Larry Elder, etc. get far more attention than Cornel West and Juliane Malveaux. They also pretend black people aren't being allowed to vote GOP. There are plenty of black conservatives, most just vote either Independent or for conservative Democrats.

@publicatdamagnificen - Polls have consistently shown the majority of Republicans have an overall negative view of black people, and 4 times out of 5 if you find a racist white person they usually identify as conservative, conservative-leaning or Republican. I don't think I've ever met a black Republican who wasn't one just because they believed there was money to be made out of it.

To be fair this isn't something new. White conservatives have been using this line about black people being on a "Democratic plantation" for years now. Black people have consistently voted Democrat since 1964. So conservatives have invented this conspiracy fantasy that anyone who expresses a conservative view in the black community is instantly crushed and silenced by Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and black people are under mind control and too scared to vote Republican in polls.

@o0ScarfFace0o - And it's not like a lot of conservatives truly care about Jews. Some just dislike them less than Arabs because most modern Jews are of European descent and some just support Israel in the hopes wars in Israel will lead to the Rapture and Armageddon.

Of course this is a laughable idea since black voters tend to vote more conservatively on social issues that the majority of white Americans. How would black conservatives be prevented from voting Republican anyway? Do Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan get in the booth with all black voters and watch over their shoulder as they vote? It's just Republicans being butthurt and trying to sound "down with the struggle" to attract black voters.

It's also laughable because of the fact modern Republicans (the Party of Reagan) are completely pro-"The Man", so trying to make voting Republican sound like it's something rebellious or radical is just silly. Maybe reactionary but not radical. I love how they claim white liberals are racist for using the term "Uncle Tom" but when white conservatives imply black Democratic voters are Uncle Toms by saying they're "on a plantation" it's okay. Hypocrites.

@publicatdamagnificen - ^This. I'm not a conservative myself but it's one thing to be black and just happen to be a conservative but it's another thing to be black and to be a Republican. The Republican Party is the party that allowed in the Dixiecrats after the Civil Rights Bill passed and every GOP Presidential candidate since Barry Goldwater has played the "Southern Strategy". They've also played with district lines and robo-calls to keep black people from voting.
