  1. Same here. I think racists do that because it's a stupid or simple-minded person's (which most racists are) idea of how a "smart person" sounds. They think constantly throwing out bullshit numbers makes you sound smart. I guess it works sometimes since equally dumb people are often easily convinced by seeing out-of-context statistics. They also don't seem to realize even if their stats are true (which they rarely are) it doesn't apply to every last person in a group, or even the majority.
