  1. It depends. A lot of people love the shit out of superficial assholes like Donald Trump and Mark Zuckerberg (who was even called a "hero" by some after that movie "The Social Network" came out). Mike Tyson can be an asshole but he's not superficial. He's one of the realest famous people I've ever seen. He doesn't pretend to be something that he's not and he readily admits his many flaws up front. He's very self-depreciating, sometimes he gets TOO down on himself.

  2. Well, technically using drugs is a crime. But I understand what you mean. Tyson is mostly just hurting himself, he doesn't need to apologize to the public since he abusing himself (and stressing his family) isn't doing wrong by the general public. It's really none of our business, Tyson is just reaching out for public sympathy because he needs the emotional support.
