Only vehicles made before 1980 would survive that.

@1940limited 16 EVs is globally and that is a very different picture. It is pretty much only in America EVs have issues with selling. EU is far from America when it comes to EV market share.

@oliphauntsneverlie6227 The problem is that it revolves around a bigger thing, climate change.

@amarreder6241 "Renewables are 4% with government Subsidies." You have to elaborate a bit more on what you mean. "Where will Renewables be 51%, replacing fossil fuels?" First of all, it is a process that have to be started. Second, a lot of countries are much further ahead than America because they were not so heavily influenced by the fossil fuel industry. So yes there are plenty of countries that have over 51% of their electricity use supplied by renewable energy.

@amarreder6241 Hydro is renewable energy, but Ill name a few with your restrictions. The best examples are probably Netherlands and Denmark. Spain and Germany are very close to 51%

@michaelsadventures4261 Even if the electricity is powered by coal then EVs will still have less CO2 emissions.

@scray00 I dont think it has shown on my feed, so I cant respond to it. Ill respond to these two comments you have made here in another post in a few mins.

@scray00 Amber, so your two comments here have nothing to do with my first comment? I do not know what you replied to in that "a very lengthy comment on one of your other comments" so it is hard for me to respond but Ill give it a try. My understanding of your comment is that you assume the grid would not be improved while the switch to EVs is going on. From that assumption then I can understand your logic but that is not reality. Billions of $ have been allocated in congressional bills for improving the power grid and work is already underway. Please look up the "Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP) Program Projects"
