  3. @signoflow I think Matt said it very well. Another way could also be that the owners pay a decent salary where tips are included. That way you would not need to tip as the tip would also be included in the price of the meal.

  4. @seinfan9 Why not $1000 an hour? No, the minimum wage should be what a single parent with two kids working full time could get by on in that state/area.

  6. @robinsullivan4423 The minimum wage increase started April 1st in CA. What list of places? I would be very interested in seeing that list because everything I have found suggest very few places have closed because of the minimum wage increase. So please let me know where I can find that list. Do not use links as they are not allowed here.

  7. Why not just include the tip in the salary like most other countries? Only tip the staff when you think you have recieved exceptional service.
