Solar Panels can be Recycled. Silicon solar modules are primarily composed of glass, plastic, and aluminum: three materials that are recycled in mass quantities.

Looney Left I was told 22 would be enough for my home but we added more for future needs because I'll be putting in a lap pool and a turntable for my driveway, and the power wall stays fully charged most of the time. I have no clue where you're getting your figures from, but I know that my system works great, and you appear to be misinformed on the requirements of a household. I know my system produces ample power and in the long run it will save me a lot of money.

I have a big house in the tropics, and I keep my AC on 24/7. It is a Windmar home with a Tesla Powerwall and nearly 1400sq ft of unobstructed solar panel coverage including spaces, and I'm fairly certain there are people in Southern California that also have $3 and $4 electric bills sometimes. The trolls can say whatever they want, it's a free Internet space, but the technology is really pretty cool. I changed everything to LED in one of my properties on the mainland and brought the monthly electric bill down from $300 to $200 by being conservative and using level billing, but that house has electric heat so it's just as bad as the AC..

Looney Left 👈4 Day Old Acct 🤪 Entity, I have 28 Solar Panels spaced out in serviceable rows and a luma smart meter. I only used 20 kwh in the June to July billing period, but because of the rain clouds, the storms and more usage of the AC because of humidity, I used a whopping 220 kwh between July and August. NOT BAD, HUH? I live alone and I'm conservative, so it's not a typical household either. I'm lucky in that I don't live in a two-story casa, I live in a sprawling one story with ample space for my rooftop terrace, shelf pool, jacuzzi, water tank with pump and filtration, solar water heater and panels. We're not waiting for the rest of the world. PUERTO RICO was also ahead with the covid fight, with testing and vaccinations, and mask mandates that helped us keep our hospitals from being overrun. We had the best figures of any state regarding hospitalizations and mortality rates too! And best of all, there are no mass shootings and hateful divisive racist white supremacists. Last but not least, I don't care what you believe to be honest. Maybe I'll go up on the roof and make a video one day. Talvez

I pay my bills online and out of curiosity I just checked to see how much I paid Luma formerly Prepa, for electricity in the past full calendar year. The grand total for 12 months including the last bill is $147, but they have hiked the rates and they have structured a new tier system that will charge more if you go over a certain amount, however I still don't think it will affect me too much. If a $10 bill triples I can still afford it.

I don't own an EV or a Hybrid, but I have a windmar home! I can run the air conditioners when I'm on a vacation away from home to keep the humidity down, and it doesn't hardly cost me a thing.

There's a reason a lot of these legislative actions were tied to the infrastructure bill. Meanwhile, Red State governor's are returning rental assistance funding even though their capital city is flooded and they can't flush the toilets in the governor's mansion. Now there's absolutely nothing available for miles, rent has gone up but wages haven't, and they've been evacuated because there's no water, and the money their governor sent back will probably be diverted to states that are developing better infrastructure. Blue state governors are going to start asking the government for the FEMA money that should be going towards Asylum Seekers. Texas has been diverting the people but Abbott is not sending the FEMA housing money he's receiving as they're processed before bussing them out, so taxpayers down in Houston could be upset if there's a hurricane. 🌀

@kevinkelly2162 I planted two papaya trees which normally do great here and they didn't stand a chance. The wind coming off of the Atlantic on the north shore can knock you over, and there are a lot of windmills around here, but my neighbors wouldn't like it if I put one in my yard considering this is a rather exclusive area and they're persnickety.

Most EVs have 10-year 100,000-mi warranties on the batteries and offer great roadside assistance, but I guess if you're talking about an old used one that you bought in 2022 ten years from now you can always call AAA. These really aren't made for road trips, yet, and that's where hybrids come in.

Truth Social Bankrupt? 😂🤣 Donald Trump stopped paying his bills for the web hosting company because he was banking on Elon's Twitter acquisition which would probably allow him back onto the social network, but that didn't happen, and they're having trademark and licensing issues and the guy running that is under multiple investigations too, so it's not looking good for yet another Trump company that might be added to the long and ever growing list of his epic repeated failures. 😘
