@abetterfuture4787 Small addendum; they want to date a man who earns more per hour, or works more hours. However, if you earn more per hour, it will make them feel 'less than', and they will resent you for it, and if you work more hours, then 'you're never home' and 'dont help around the house' and 'don't make time for the kids' so they resent you for it. If you make more per hour and offer to work less hours than them to equal the pay they'll say that's a bad financial decision.
I watched this happen in slow motion to my father. There is no winning. It's all lose. Even if, let's say, you have generational wealth, they'll resent you for that too, accuse you of being a lazy trust fund baby, and still be upset.

@abetterfuture4787 Philippines is an option, and im definitely considerong emigration, but im from Europe so its a very long way from home. Even Malaysia or Thailand would be closer. I could also consider a country like Romania, Slovenia, or a state in the Baltics, or, when the conflict is over, Ukraine or Russia. I could even consider the US, being an exciting 6ft tall foreigner who speaks French and makes good money, I'd have a good leg up on the locals, and I'm pretty enough to get attention in a place like LA. But the legal and financial risks of moving to the States and having a relationship and god forbid, children there, will likely prove prohibitive. Plus I dont think Id enjoy the culture. But there are a lot of options and I need to decide carefully. Ive been using tinder to hop around a bit to see where I would be popular and surprisingly Russian women seem te like me a lot, even after subtracting the prostitutes and other non-viable options.
