@regenwurm5584 But Sun Tzu talked about military warfare and not about the fact that this attitude permeates all of civil life. This is more a phenomenon of all authoritarian systems. I spent my youth in East Germany and I know for a fact that it was exactly the same with us. Perhaps you know what I am talking about because I assume from your name that you are also German.

'China Fact Chasers' made a video about this as well...I can only recommend this channel...many topics are addressed there that are also discussed here on this channel. There it was also shown that these tree trunks were completely hollow inside and had no weight at all.
