All Confucius Institutes worldwide should also be closed. It seems to me that the Chinese never act in good faith. Which is not surprising given the CCP regime. I am absolutely convinced that the Western world must finally wake up and face the facts that the CCP is really trying to harm us. It goes far beyond 'normal' espionage...they influence public opinion with disinformation and lies...hacker attacks that can be traced back to China are no longer uncommon...with a lot of money they buy their way into political circles and try to influence the political picture. It should really be made clear to the CCP that this behavior also has consequences and that economic relations will be increasingly reduced. The CCP will be delighted if they only have to deal with their friends from Iran, North Korea or Russia.

@jacksmith-mu3ee Yes...Confucius was a great thinker...but these Institutes have nothing to do with Confucius and his phiosophy...they spread like a cancer...and since I am not a American, I do not care about the CIA...but the metastases of these institutes have also spread to my country...and since it became known that the CCP maintains secret police stations in many countries (many of them are located within these institutes) one can not demand anything other than to close them...the CCP takes advantage of the hospitality and cosmopolitanism of these countries and settles there to steal economic secrets and to monitor Chinese people living abroad.

@jacksmith-mu3ee Those institutes have nothing to do with Confucius and his philosophy...they are directly linked to the CCP...and I do not care about the CIA...since I do not live in the US...but the cancer of these institutes has also taken hold in my own country.
