@pinkkeith These guys do not let facts like that get in the way. Domestic drilling has never been higher in the last 8 years including when bush was in power. The whole drill baby drill chant is for morons or oil execs only.

@dlucas90 But since they control production and distribution it is just more expensive oil they can sell to the highest bidder. They may not want other companies to have it but they certainly want access to every source they can get their hands on. They lobby the government hard every day to get more. The big players do want to limit access for the small companies but even if they get the small guys sell to them too, no matter who gets control it will not change prices here at all.
