  2. Or he could lean on Manchin, they could take away his comities, cut off his funding, push him the fringes where he belongs. He is a DINO and needs to be put in his place. But we have to understand Manchin is the feature, not the bug. He is doing what the donors really want him too and is ok being the asshole.

  5. Then get rid of the filibuster ... take away manchins funding if he does not play ball. Take away anyone's funding if they do not play ball. The gop is a mess but they at least hold their party to account. You do not see the GOP let secrit progressives run around messing up their tax cuts and endless military spending.

  8.  @Amenti_H  When you have a choice of evil and lessor evil it makes sense to choose the second. Advocating for otherwise means permanent republican power, meaning permanent evil. Fight in the primaries, vote in the general. I see no upside to empowering hateful do nothing republicans at any level. Corporate democrats are marginally better than corporate republicans, I fight to replace them both.

  11.  @TheTmat007  He is acting as a republican now, his do nothing approach to politics will see the democrats crushed again like after Obama as they act gop light when they were mandated by voters to govern and do things. The republicans do not let progressives run around in their party and vote with the otherside most of the time. Manchin hurts the party because he is in it and they need to cut him loose. It is time to lean on him and promise to destroy his legacy. They need to bend or break him, either is better than letting him lead us off a cliff. As long we we capitulate to republican demands we own the failures that will ensue. They GOP is not shy blaming establishment democrats for enacting republican policy as some kind of fail. We have to stand up against intrangenent republicans in and out of the party. If we do not we risk handing power to the deeply unpopular GOP over and over. We can not allow democrats to act like satellite republicans in disguise. We have to hammer home message of the republicans total lack of will to do anything but cut checks for billionaires and endless war if we want to get anything meaningful done.

If they do not fail this cycle it will be the next. It should not even be a contest between them. This fact speaks to how badly the corporate dems hold us back.
