  3. I am not sure why you think that, I see them drifting away from ideas that are not popular anyway, ideas that had nothing to do with what I as long time resident of the left fight for. I want to see economic left wing populism rise, this is literally the best way to move that forward. I want to see democracy protected and enshrined so that it can't be bought. I don't want them supporting dumb ideas like changing the word for woman or abolishing prisons. We can live without the fringe driving the bus. If we want our ideas in place it makes eminent sense to play to our strengths and not our weakness
