Diane is so deeply out of touch, we all know she is the one who is supposed to be listening not the other way round. These voices are multiplying and will not be getting quieter.

Pilfer Bean I honestly do not see her age as the primary problem. She is beholden to and is an icon of a system that is entirely corrupt. The bubble she is in promotes stasis and at it's best gradualism. Those like her are affected by a type of insular group think where common wisdom is turned on its head. She may even think that she is right and believe she is not selling out. But that does not change that at the very best her bubble precludes her from understanding the seriousness of the issue. Her age is not the problem, her very limited perspective and that she is deeply detached from normal people is the root of it.
