  4. As long as our leaders are for sale we will have no good choices, only bad ones and worse ones. The personal "distinction" of which is "bad" in our system is driven entirely by the media you choose. No matter who wins, the donors prosper and the voters are ignored economically. Both sets of leadership oppose all worker focused economic change. One party is not entirely as regressive socially as the other. The establishment liberal con divide is founded on non economic wedge issues to give the respective parties something besides economics to run on. On tax policy, bailouts of the rich and war there is a lot of bipartisanship due to the fact both are owned by the same masters. Their similarity on these issues highlights that their applied empty focus and rhetoric allows them to do nothing that costs the owner class a dime. It additionally promotes division in the population, forcing their eye off the ball. Their "conflict" has become a distraction from the fact no matter which party wins, we as a country never do.
