  43. Why live there? Usually lots of service type jobs attract people that in turn cant live anywhere near the job... it's kinda of economics balancing game... remember, in silicon valley theres high paid workers, and they can't afford the bay area either.

  44. I walked out a year ago too. Oversized classes, apathetic administrators, unruly kids when they are dumped in only the few electives left.... I didn't feel guilt, only relief. I hear now that my old position is a revolving door of new teachers....this problem is not going away easily.
