This is because, in spite of a SECULAR constitution, America's evangelistic christians seek to overturn that constitution and turn America into a theocratic dictatorship thus putting an end to ALL democratic principles like free and fair elections. Indeed elections would be ABOLISHED and Afro-Americans put back into enslavement. Women would lose all their hard-won rights as well.
