ToniSkit by refusing to care is rather doing harm.

Would of thought this goes entirely against the Hippocratic Oath. The core you know of being a Doctor.
24
ToniSkit nope. Refusing to do service to me is doing harm. You more arguing semantics. Really you shouldnt be defending them. Considering refusing service to a baby is appalling.
21
Really the Hippocratic Oath that a Doctor should follow is being completely ignored by the Doctor refusing to care for a baby because of the baby's parents. So no I think the Doctor is entirely in the wrong
16
ToniSkit Excuses she should not be a Doctor anymore.
14
ToniSkit Nope she should not be a Doctor, and Hippocratic Oath is not being respected. You cant discriminate pretty sure plenty of laws exist saying that. This Doctor is utterly in the wrong and if she was going to fail in providing healthcare for this baby because of her views. Then she would breach the oath and should not be a doctor. It is not a valid reason to reject patience because of their sexuality-- especially when it is the baby who has not done anything but just come to exist. Babies are also very vulnerable in the early stages and refusing care endangers the baby's life.

Really? Isnt refusing to care for a patient because of sexual orientation of parents entirely against the Hippocratic Oath? The whole core of what a Doctor is meant to follow. Doctor Roi should be gone and lose her license.

***** If she was going to harm the child because of this then she shouldnt be a doctor. Even if she stepped away that isnt good. Considering if she did harm the child if she did so in caring is also against the Hippocratic Oath. Thus her attitudes are going against the Hippocratic Oath.

ToniSkit More excuses and constant rationalization that ignores the reality which is this was a little harmless Baby. You aint going to change my mind. She has failed as a Doctor and she should be sacked and lose her License. Only time I would accept a Doctor rejection is if the Doctor's life was endanger. If she is incapable of providing a fair service and medical healthcare for a baby because of her parents and her belief. She should not be a Doctor.

Tyrion As doctor she kinda does.

Tyrion Nope it isnt acceptable to refuse a patient for their parents sexuality. It is not valid right to reject a patient because of their race or parents sexuality. Especially when babies are quite vulnerable in early stages. It is not acceptable.
3
LarsUlrichIsMe If she was going to harm a baby because of her beliefs then she would breach the Hippocratic Oath. That includes not providing healthcare and thus endangering the baby's life. If she would do that she should not be allowed to be a Doctor. Thus by doing this she is a danger to healthcare and not a valid to be a doctor.

ToniSkit Pretty sure a lot of anti-discrimination laws exist in the US in some form and elsewhere I people roll patients with families as being family doctors [as in parents kids get auto covered when very young]. However I refuse with what has happened to accepted it as being OK regardless because Law says ok. Jim Crow was Law, so was segregation. Just because something is a 'Law' doesnt make it acceptable or right- or deserving of defending as you have done. She has failed as a Doctor and she be gone, she also betrayed the idea of Hippocratic Oath-- especially when you see doctors across the world treating all people in so many situations.
3
ToniSkit already stated my view and position, reasoning-- you will not convince me otherwise. So dont think your continuing protection of a awful person will change my position on this incident.
3
Tyrion A Doctor that rejects providing healthcare for someone because of their views is wrong. They shouldnt be a doctor, if they would harm that person because of their beliefs then they shouldnt be a Doctor and breach the Hippocratic Oath, as well as you are not really allowed to discriminate against people in work places.
2
Tyrion Any doctor that cancels their appointment over something like the sexuality of parents should have their license revoked.

they aint 24/7 they have to find stories, decide what they want to talk about then upload it or not

No Cenk I disagree to refuse to treat a baby for such a reason makes her a bad person. It a freaking baby. Also this goes completely against the Hippocratic Oath which is meant to be the entirety of a Doctor ideology.
