She just got bad luck. She missed her chance to run when it was Hillary so instead Sanders came to being known and got the exposure. With that exposure for him her support has drained with people going to Sanders because she was progressive lite in reality. So she didn’t have grass roots, never had it truly and Sanders has used the four years to build that. Without that her only infusion was donor class but then they didn’t came to her because they hate her so her funds became too drained.
