They cant have women being able to use Stand Your Ground when dealing with domestically abusing partners, because this would problem raise the amount of male deaths or that they cant have non white people using it otherwise you have them defending themselves. The other reason is that because she moved from a spot, that it doesnt count as SYG- otherwise it seems solely due to her being black. Case makes no sense, if you removed SYG- which they trying to do. Still has grounds for Self Defense.
