  4. Really. Really don't you think to be a bit more accurate and rightfully criticise the European Commission? The EC is elected by the Council who are all the member state governments. If we do have a problem with global elitists, and I agree, then stop voting for the parties within EPP. Stop voting for the lesser right wing parties that sucks off the Global elitist businessmen, Wall Street, Extremist Christian Churches, the US Republicans and China. Stop acting against your own interests. I really don't want to call you a stupid idiot if you act like one. (oh wait, your profile says you're a "Proud American", ain't that the truth..)

  5. How is your freedom any less than ours? The British Brexiteers propagandised that its freedom was less than its Great old Colonial days, because its member state status was reduced to equal to that of Poland or Luxembourg. And I hate to mention it, but the Brexiteers were also highly racist toward Polish and Hungarian workers and families and said it was all the EU's fault.

  6.  @karlosthejackel69  And? What exact details do you have? What does it do when there's already a Nato that's being praised by militaristic people? What does it mean when there are 27 national armies? Personally, I feel like it's a Trojan horse for the weapons and military industry to boost their wealth serving a pan-euro army. But for the European Commission, that means high efficiency and market productivity. As well as a competitive (and needless) prowess against the American, Turkish, Chinese and Russian militaries.

  14.  @karlosthejackel69  really? It stated that? And the bulk English Lawyers and Thatcher-free-marketism had nothing to do with the 1993 Maastricht treaty? Every member government are accumulative of the European Council which is responsible for choosing the Commission. Ignorance is rife!

  15.  @karlosthejackel69  it's nice that you had chosen the 70s as a particular time frame since back then the EEC was actively procuring to strengthen Union Rights across all members as an equiliser across the block. The UK was a leader in this, but broke itself a part between rich and poor. But then, of course, the 80s, welfare reform and trickle economics became vogue. Don't be so feckless.
